Statement of Faith What we believe: God' Word
The Holy Bible is the one and only inspired Word of God, consisting of sixty six books, and is the basis and final authority of the Christian faith and conduct.
God
There is One God Almighty, the Father and the creator of the heavens and the earth and sea and all that is in it, eternally existent, triune in person.
Jesus Christ His son, the Savior of the world, the second person in the God head, is God, who came in flesh and blood, was born of the virgin Mary, born and lived without sin and died for the sins of all mankind and rose again on the third day, ascended into heaven, is seated at the right hand of the Father, from where He shall come again the second time to judge the living and the dead, and establish His kingdom which shall never end.
The Holy Spirit, the Spirit of truth, the third person of the Trinity, is God, sent from the Father as the Comforter, and He guides the church into all truth, He enables the church to live for God with the fruit of the Spirit and He empowers the church to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ with the gifts of the Spirit.
Mankind
All human beings are created by God in His image and likeness, triune in personality, irrespective of gender, caste, creed, language and nationality. Sin is the transgression of God’s law and that every human is a sinner, by virtue of man’s disobedience, is in a depraved condition, and in danger of going to burn in a lake of fire eternally, and is in need of the salvation from sin and its consequence.
Man's salvation can be found only in Jesus Christ who died and rose again for the sins of all man kind and that forgiveness can be received by faith, repentance and the public confession of baptism.
The church
The church, the house of God, is the gathering of believers of the Lord Jesus Christ.
The church is governed locally by elders or bishops.
The appointment of elders is on the basis of their spiritual maturity as taught in God’s Word and through the laying on of hands of other elders in the church.
The gathering of the church is primarily to Worship God, study His Word, fellowship with believers and pray to God. The primary mission of the church is to ‘go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature’.
Eternal Judgment
God is the final judge and lawgiver and there is a day appointed by God in which the eternal judgment of every human being will be done by the Lord Jesus Christ when the eternal destiny of each and every human being except those already saved, will be decided by God on the basis of His record of their works.
Satan
There is an enemy of all mankind called Satan who along with his fallen angels actively resists God’s work deceives men, whose end is the lake of fire that burns forever.
